DIY Backyard Composting

  • Beverly Public Library Sohier room of the Main Library Beverly, MA, 01915 United States (map)

An interactive introductory workshop to provide information on composting and its benefits, techniques for composting (indoor and outdoor will be explored), how and what to compost, challenges/costs/concerns, and resources.

Composting can be fun and beneficial for the earth. One added bonus is you can use your finished compost for your garden and can even easily brew a nutrient rich compost tea liquid fertilizer for your lawn and plants!

Starting Friday the 24th, Beverly Public Library will be leading a number of service and awareness events in observance of Climate Preparedness week.

Green Beverly will be there featuring a live demonstration of different methods of home composting, conducted by one of our coaches and the founder of Full Circle Earth, Jimi Carnazza!

Virtual attendance is possible via Zoom. The demonstration will be recorded and available on our Educational Materials page.
